Lately Ive noticed myself getting the same ol drink at a scottsdale, AZ bar (Glass of jack & coke). I would like to try some new stuff out but not sure what is most common and fairly priced at a bar. I am used to paying $5 for a glass of Jack n’ Coke. Something that tastes good(something fruit) would be cool to try. Also has to give me a strong buzz. Any suggestions would be cool!

ask for a Big Kahuni. It’s 3 shots of rum and 3000 shots of vodka.
if that doesn’t take the Shpadoinkle out of your day. Nothing will.
Try a long island. Tastes magnificent (like a soft drink in heaven!), will get you boozed like nobodys business (5 shots of alcohol), and is fairly cheap for what you get (around7-8$, depends on bar).
Two questions… What the hell kind of guy wants fruit (except real fruit as a garnish or muddled) and don’t they have liquor specials in scottsdale? I guess I’m spoiled living in a college town in the most heavily drinking state in the union (Wisconsin, that is…)
At any rate, you don’t seem like you would be up for a REAL drink, as those can get a bit expensive (Old Fashioned, Pink Gin, anything with bitters) so maybe just try a Red Stag and Coke (cherry Jim Beam, basically) or you can stop watering down good booze and get that whiskey on the rocks, instead.
