Do I have to clear out every cabinet and closet for the exterminator?

I have a house cricket problem and the exterminator is coming to treat it. They said to clear cabinets and things away from the wall. Does that include my closets, bathroom drawers, etc.? They also said after they are done I have to leave the house for up to 4 hrs. I just want to make things easy on the exterminator, thanks!

the more area cleared the better… but the days of baseboard treating have been over for 20+ years. For crickets it wouldn’t hurt, so he could hit the corners of the closets, not sure why he wants cabinets emptied, they aren’t living there. Leave for four hours? What the heck are they using…crickets require no exiting of the home. Should treat under home if applicable with a dust,,liquid in corners, where plumbing enters through the walls, maybe baseboards of kitchen and bathroom..around the foundation will be either a liquid or granular treatment on the perimeter of the house. Most modern stuff we use is odorless, mixed in water so there is no fumes.
