What i want to know is why are senators and mayors as well as the presidents cabinet making so much money….?

What i want to know is why are senators and mayors as well as the presidents cabinet making so much money. And then you have people in charge of helping run the United States who dont even pay taxes which has to effect everyone else.

Because they are all crooks. Simple axiom about American Politics and American Politicians if they ain’t crooks when they get in they are crooks by the time they get out.

About the only Politician who I’d say was honest is Jimmy Carter. Reason because he was broke and on verge of bankruptcy when he left the presidency. Such sign he was honest while in office.

And the rest have been richer when they got out of office than when they got in office. Sure sign they were dishonest. Just look at Bill Clinton and George Bush on that one.

It is of course interesting to see officeholders who receive relatively little salary for their jobs emerge from a few years in government quite wealthy. Hmmm. Where do you suppose it all comes from? They must have performed some service to have gotten it.

Actually, they usually come from the private sector and make a lot of money there. When they do become a part of an Adminstration, they usually take a pay cut. Just think about the millions of dollars that many of each Adminstations economics people have made on Wall Street who come at the urging of the President. Many are making many times income then they earn while serving. Let’s take a look at the President’s salary. It’s $400,000 per year but my local CEO of my bank makes about 1 million dollars per year with a yearly bonus attached based on production.

I can’t speak for this Admistration but those in the spotlight usually pay their taxes. They just use the legal tax loops.
