While out shopping at walmart the other i managed to run into the corner of a table with my shopping cart and jammed it with my stomach FULL FORCE. Well it only hurt me for like a semi-second, then i was fine. My biggest concern was my baby though. Im so scared that imay have caused brain damage of smased her face. Im currently 33 weeks pregnant. After the incident she moved around in my belly like a mad woman for 15 mins straight. Will she be okay? I havent experiecned any bleeding or cramping.

Even on go carts…I was stopped and this older guy slammed into the back of me, I was in the process of getting unbuckled and getting up, I slammed my head on the metal roll bars and the guy acts like nothings wrong as I’m sitting there cursing him out…I wish he had been somebody I know from school…I wouldve knocked the hell out of him

My best friend and I are going to Vegas next summer and were trying to plan on stuff to do when were here. Were 14 and obviously we can’t go to bars and party and stuff like that lol, but what is there to do that is fun outhere for us?!

i already know about the stratosphere, but is there a certain age you have to be to ride on it?
I know about circus circus, go carting places, freemont street, NY NY rollercoster and arcade, walking up and down the strip to see the lights and all of that, M&M world and the cocacola factory. i heard about indoor skydiving. is there anything else two 14 year olds can do here?! thanks!!

1) those little bumps on the ground in front of stores like Costco and sams club, that make a LOT of noise when you go over them with carts,…what are they for?

2)those sprinklers on the side of the road in those huge fields, the sprinklers with those metal wheels every twelve feet or so, do farmers move those electronically? or do they have to push them around manually to water the whole field?

3) the question might stink, but what do they mean by saying “going number one, and going number two? is number two just going to the bathroom for the second time? or is like, peeing number one, and pooping number two?… then what does number three mean? 0.o

my boyfriend is unhappy. it sucks because i love seeing him happy we have been dating for over a year and everything has been great. we just got a nice apartment together…and like i said…everything has been going great. problem is..is that ive changed…for the worst. and my boyfriend has mentioned this to me before…but i guess i didnt want to do anything about it. now its coming down to the whole “breaking up phase” he doesnt want to..but he says that we are going down a wrong road..and if we continue..that something bad is going to happen. i dont want that and neither does he. he says that he wants to work with me and get through this. he just wants me to be the girl he fell in love with a year ago. i used to be fun and adventurous and i always wanted to get out of the house and do things. (bowling, go carts, etc) now…i just dont want to go out anymore…id rather just sit in the living room and watch tv..and he wants to do things…but no…its all about me and i turn into a real selfish &%^$@ and he gets annoyed by it. i only think of myself and i annoy the crap out of him. he now hates when i say “i love you” every 2 seconds…and it just feels like we so far apart right now. and i need to change and make things better again. i became really attached to this guy because he treats me so good and he makes me feel so good. he makes me happy. but now im just making him annoyed and miserable with my actions. and i need to fix them and fast. hes also upset because my parents never gave him a chance..and no matter what i say to my parents…i cant really make them change their mind. im stuck and im hurt and i want things to be like they used to be

How should I cut ties with my parents?? (kind of long sorry)?

I am trying very hard to cut ties with my parents. I’m wondering if I should tell them or just stop talking to them all together. I am 21 years old. Have been living with my boyfriend 110% on our own for over 2 years now. In the last couple months I have realized my parents were not the wonderful people I thought there were all my life.
First my parents made a bank account for me, when I was very young when I started working at 15 they made me put pay checks into the account. When I moved out (at 19) they told me that account wasn’t mine. I got $50 out of the account & they removed my name. Also telling me my car insurance & cell phone bills were double even triple what they really where. I paid them. 2nd. My father drinks. We weren’t allowed to pay sports or be in clubs because we would come home to late&my father was passed out by then. It was HELL if you woke him. He did have a very good job & never missed work. He bought us quads & go carts cars (we had to pay back double for) thinking that would make up for things. Really I’m very hurt by these things.

The breaking point was really my 21st birthday my mom gave my cupcakes away to random people at the bar. Never asking me if I wanted 1. I didn’t even get a card till weeks later & when I asked her to buy a $7 shirt since I didn’t get a gift she freaked. When my grandpa died 5 days after my birthday my parents promised they would come get me so I could see the closing of the casket. (my car was at their house) they didn’t I missed that. Then they let me walk about a mile in town, it was 14 outside. & acted like it was no big deal. Then lied to my family why I wasn’t there. Also have been putting down my boyfriend & his family for alot of things. His family is so wonderful and does so much for us.
My dad wouldn’t drive 8 miles from his house to mine. & back so I could get my car from work to take myself to the ER. (it was at work because I left it there to go the ER the night before) He wouldn’t take me to the ER because he had plans later in the day.

Should I just stop talking to them or tell them how I feel?
Its so hard to do either but its time…I don’t see how sorry can fix it this time.
I have made comments about things not coming out and saying hey this is how i feel. But they just tell me I’m wrong or they don’t want to talk about it. I got everything I wanted as a kid there is no reason for me to bit*h. Blah Blah Blah. I think they would just put me down worse and/or blame my boyfriend (of 5 years) for me feeling like this.
My boyfriend wants to get engaged and start looking at houses out of state before I was so against this….now I really want to. My little brother will be 18 in a couple weeks. He keeps saying he wishes my boyfriend and I would buy a house so he could rent a room and not live at home.
I don’t know if I’m more hurt by my dad’s drinking and us missing out. Or the way my mom thinks its ok. But puts my dad down nonstop. She also puts the rest of the world down like they are PERFECT!!! (they fight non stop, are so in debt.) My dad quit drinking for 9 weeks because of his heart meds. So I believe he can stop if he wanted to stop drinking. I have already said I have plans on telling him if he wants to drink then don’t come to my wedding when that time comes.

What should I wear for New Years in Reno?

OK so I’m going to visit my guy in California next week and we’re going to be Reno for New Years. I’m sure we’ll be going to bars and such, but then he said we’ll be going outside to watch fireworks. It’s so hard to find a cute dressy outfit that is suitable for the cold weather. It’s going to be cold there. I have 2 very very cute shirts that I bought last year and didn’t wear. They are both dressy black and silver halter tops. I was going to wear them with either really dark denim jeans or gray/silver dress pants.The only problem is, it will be cold there. Is it stupid to dress in a halter top? I’ve been trying to find something to wear over them (like a black blazer) but nothing looks good with it. I have a nice Black coat I can bring, I just know I won’t want to cart it around all night. Do girls dress in tops like that even though it’s cold? If not, Any suggestions on what I could put over my tops or if I should just find another outfit?
Any suggestions on a type of outfit?
I found a short dress, then I’m going to wear dark skinny jeans with it and a little dressy half jacket. So I’ll be warm! thanks!!

well i like this guy lets call him Emmett and he is my best friends’ best guy friend lets call her Kendall and i think he likes me too he always flirts with me especially wen i went to his bday party at mulligans and on the go carts he was making sure i don’t get passed him and his evil side kick lets call him Nick and after that we went in the lazertag and he wanted me to follow him to this corner and he wouldnt tell me why then suddenly he pushed me against the wall and started shooting me with his lazer gun and i was like emmett! then he was like oh i’m sorry do u want me to make u feel better? he came closer and was nervous then kendall spotted us then she called for nick and they used us as targets then he shot me again when he heared kendall say “There u 2 are!” do u think he was gonna kiss me or was he gonna like shoot me again cuz his gun was still pointing at me…. then wen we left the lazertag he saw this “really Hot girl” (according to him) there and he was bragging about how she was “Checking Him Out” wen he saw her the first time and he tried to prove to me and Kendall how she was and so he was standing at the prize counter waiting for her to get done ordering food at the snack bar next to the prize counter and so she walked passed him… doesn’t even look him (it was halarious) then he kept on bugging me only me to go and see how she is ” into him”….. but eventually she left…. so do u think he likes me too?….. Was he trying to see if i was into him too by seeing if i got jealous? ( which i didnt show that i was b/c i thought he didnt like me so i pretended that i didnt like him) what do u guys think?

They were all staring at me now, staring at the Chef Boyardee and thick sliced ham in my cart, disgust painted all over their faces.
I sized up the taller hippie and went for his knees. He went down in a whimper and as I made a dash for the end of the aisle I saw the gray-haired liberal out of the corner of my eye, coming at me with a loaf of rye.
She caught me under the chin and then stock-boy was on me, pointing and laughing, kicking me in the belly.
I laid there, defeated waiting for the crowd to disperse.

In November I was a few friends at a bar when one of my friends friend who was a intoxicated woman, jumped on my back, (i did not even know her) and badly broke my leg and I have had to have surgery. I play minor league athletics and because of her actions I unable to play in which it is my job. I am unable to work now and since the accident happen off ice the team is not liable to cover the injury and they are not paying me and have no insurance. She was contacted and was unwilling to assume any responsibility saying “well I know I jumped on him but I am to little to break his leg”. There is a tape and and numerous witnesses. I was walking one minute and carted to the hospital the next after she jumped on me and broke my leg.

I would Appricate it if you could help me out cause of her action I had to pay for all my medical and I am not getting any income. I spoke to a couple of lawyers that said they couldn’t help me they deal with car cashes or they wouldn’t know who to go after. What kind of lawyer should I talk to? And would her or parents home owners insurance be able to pay?

THE INFECTED

Hello, my name is Paul Williams III and would like to see, you make a mmofps zombie game, if you guys could consider it. I would like the game to conserve ammunition when doing missions, or survival stages. You can go to bases where you buy weapons and material.
It would be a military base or some kind of survival outpost. There would be locations of big city’s and of big country areas for the landscape, and would suspect small towns to be in it. I would hope it would be something like world of Warcraft or Star wars galaxy game play and not of Hell gate or Diablo games and would want the game to be as realistic as possible and able to pick up items like Resident Evil.
There would be hunting knives and swords as well as black powder pistols that you can retrieve from buildings and would not be able to buy from the base. I want it to be conservative of ammunition when doing missions and would be able to find ammunition in farm houses and gang hideouts as well as police stations.
I suspect there would be Raiders or outcast bikers that group up against us for their survival to steal and pillage for their means. The zombies could be different types like the normal infected zombies mindless, and the smart zombies.
You could also for some missions, pick up video tapes that could show people trapped in a room with guns that are about to be eaten by the zombies, and what you can do is retrieve the video and give it to their family’s for closure and get a reward. You Will be able to ride Motorcycles,quads,dirt bikes,go-carts, normal vehicles.
I would think there would be some classes like
survivor,military soldier,cop,swat,green beret,journalist.
I hope it would either start out as a comet hitting Earth or asteroid, which brings disease, or human made that gets out of hand and reaches the public. A story that can intrigue the players.
Survivors would start out by themselves and begin with pistols or low pump action shotguns.
Cops start out with pistols,semi-shotguns,m16s
military start out with m4,m16,AK-47, as well as light machine guns
Swat & Green Berets start out with sub machine guns with grenades,mp5,scorpion and Such weapons.
Journalist start out with the police and get Camera, for valuable trade taking pictures for the army, Pistols basically money maker.

He follows you around with his shopping cart. He is smelly, FLITHY and toothless and wears old, tattered clothes. He goes around asking people could they “be his friend.” Of course, they run from him like he’s got leprosy. He comes up to you and asks you the same question, but you just laugh at him and so “buzz off”. He’s got multiple restraining orders.

Then something miraculous happens… a cute little boy becomes his friend. He helps the guy with his groceries, helps his cross the street and plays chess in the park with him. The old man tells him stories about the war and the little boy makes sure his last days are happy.
About a year later, the old man dies. In his will, it reads “…. and to my only friend, this little boy, (insert name here) I give my fortune of 15 billion dollars, my ranch in Canada, my bars of gold and other assets.”

How would you feel after that?

So yesterday i’ll tell you everything i ate. In the morning like at 7am all i ate was a banana then left straight for the gym and ate a 30g protein bar 410 calories, i ate half of it pre-workout then half post-workout. I did tons of cardio and some strength, burned around 1,200 calories. Then I left for work and during break i ate a little apple walnut salad with rasberry vinigarette dressing and a little fruit salad with a banana. Keep in mind at my job I am always standing up and walking around like getting carts outside is part of my job as well. Worked from 11am to 8pm. After i got off i came home and ate rice with some chicken and a small amount of potatoes. And after that I just ate like a bag of M&M’s. The only drinks i had was a G2 gatorade, a coke zero and of course water. I’m trying to lose weight but i think i ruined it.

my 5 month old weighs 15 lbs and is still in one of the infant carrier type seats…..not sure if he’s ready for something else, but he cries alot in the car….its hard to get him to sleep. I think he’s ready to sit up more, but since he can’t sit yet in shopping carts or anything, i’m hesitant to switch already…but anyway when did you switch and what carseat would you recommned? I’m thinking about one with the cross bar on the front.
I know convertable seats can go from 5 to 40 lbs….my question is when did your baby shows signs of not liking to infant seat anymore….they’re more handy than convertable seats since they fit on shopping carts.

Troubleshooting Nintendo Wi-Fi to work with Pokémon Pearl/Diamond GTS, but I’m out of ideas. Can someone help?

I’ve been attempting to get the Pokémon Pearl/Diamond GTS to work but I haven’t had any luck, and most sources of information I’ve found are too vague or don’t offer a solution, so I thought I’d just give asking here a shot.

Basically I can connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi on either of two DSes through my wireless router/DSL setup (each DS is has its own Pokémon cart), but the game seems to freeze when “checking GTS’s status” or, on rare occassions when it doesn’t freeze there, it freezes when a pokémon search or deposit is attempted.

For a few minutes, it’ll still keep the bars for the wifi connection updated, but I’ve found after awhile I can even turn off the router and it no longer seems to notice.

Now, I’ve gotten the friend trading (available in the basement level of the pokémon centers) to work just fine over the WFC.

One thing I’ve noticed is lately I seem very vulnerable to routers dying nearby and causing some URLS to be unreachable for a few hours, but this problem has persisted for a few days now.

So, anyone have any suggestions? I admit to having little experience with the Nintendo WFC and Nintendo DS, but I know some things about electronics, so don’t hold back on explanations.
I have attempted a few firewall tricks (my router allows a connected device to be temporarily placed “outside” the firewall, I also tried opening a number of ports listed on the Nintendo website), but it does not seem to be the router firewall that is causing the problem.

Other wi-fi connections seem to work okay as well, and even sitting the DS on top of the router for max signal strength does not change the result.
I’ve never cheated, including using action replay codes or cloning.

My story:

There was this one time when I went to Wal-mart. I had with me: A purse, and a sister. We were just walking around the store, when my sister decided it would be fun to try and get kicked out. So, we took the electric carts for thee old, and we hit one of the employees. We than SPRINTED over to the frozen foods, and ate ALL of the ice cream. (There were a couple of people helping us as well.) Afterwards, we had gone to the checkouts and gotten a chocolate candy bar.
We went into the bathroom and spread the chocolate all over one of my hands. I then stuck it under the stall (where there was another person) and asked them for some toilet paper. They went and told a worker, and they found us! We got kicked out! It was thee best time ever!!

THE INFECTED

Hello, my name is Paul Williams III and would like to see, you make a mmofps zombie game, if you guys could consider it. I would like the game to be conserve ammunition when doing missions, or survival stages. The bases where you can buy or what ever currency you can use to get weapons and material.
It would be a military base or some kind of survival outpost. There would be locations of big city’s and of big country areas for the landscape and would suspect small towns to be in it. I would hope it would be something like world of war craft or star wars galaxy game play and not of hell-gate or diablo games and would want the game to be as realistic as possible.
Able to pick up items like Resident Evil. I would also think there would be hunting knives and swords as well as black powder pistols that you retrieve from buildings and would not be able to buy. Like i said though, I want it to be conservative of ammunition when doing missions and would be able to find ammunition in farm houses and gang hideouts as well as police stations.
I would suspect to be Raiders or outcast bikers that group up against us for their survival to steal and pillage for their means. The Zombies could be different types like the normal infected zombies mindless, and smart zombies that other npc units to go against us.
You could also for some missions, pick up video tapes that could show people trapped in a room with guns that are about to be eaten by the zombies, and what you can do is retrieve the video and give it to their family’s for closure and get a reward. You Will be able to ride Motorcycles,quads,dirt-bikes,go-carts, normal vehicles.
I would think there would be some classes like
survivor,military soldier,cop,swat,green beret,journalist.
Hope it would either start out as a comet hitting Earth or asteroid, which brings disease, or human made that gets out of hand and reaches the public. A story that can intrigue the players.
Survivors would start out by themselves and begin with pistols or low pump action shotguns.
Cops start out with pistols,semi-shotguns,m16s
military start out with m4,m16,ak-47, as well as light machine guns
Swat & Green Berets start out with sub machine guns with grenades,mp5,scorpion and Such weapons.
Journalist start out with the police and get Camera, for valuable trade taking pictures for the army, Pistols basically money maker.

Rising food costs?

An article on Yahoo! this morning stated the following:

“But for the poorest U.S. families, the higher costs may mean going hungry. A family of four is eligible for a maximum $542 a month in food stamps, which never lasted the whole month before, Food Bank of New Jersey’s DiChiara said.”

Since when is $135.50 PER PERSON not enough to buy food for one month? I have a family of 5 and we only spend about $250/month on food ($50/person).

The government needs to realize that these people on food stamps are eating like royalty! I’m so tired of seeing a food stamp recipient push a cart full of steaks, sodas, and name brand food items up to the checkout line, while I’m having to purhcase off-brand everything! ARG!

Food-stamp recipients should be REQUIRED to buy the lowest-priced brand, much the same way mother’s do with WIC. If they were required to purchase off-brand foods, and purchases for “junk-food” such as sodas, candy bars, etc were limited, the government could
cut this $542 down to around $400. Hell, that’s still too much to give them! ARG! I’m tired of working my @$$ off and not having &*#$ while the government takes care of lazy @$$ &*#$&*#s that won’t work!
To gina – They should be required to purchase the lowest-priced brand because it is not the governments responsibility to take care of them! Why should the government spend $3.00 for Jif peanut butter when they can spend $2.00 for the store brand (which is most likely manufactured in the same factory).

Store brands are just as good as name brands. The government could save billions by requiring food stamp recipients to purchase store brand items.

Going to Vegas with my hole punched revoked VA I.D and no other Valid I.D…HELP!?

I’m going to Las Vegas for a friend’s wedding on Friday. I’m 23 and got my license revoked due to a DUI in college before moving to California. Passport and student I.D are expired. I don’t think I look underage, but I remember 50 year olds being carded randomly.

I’m not planning on gambling although my fiancee, and our friends are so I want to still be with them. I do however plan on drinking and attending a few clubs, hence why I need to know what to do. The last thing I want to do is cart around dozens of legal papers explaining why I have no license, its humiliating enough, and something I really don’t want to share with the world. I’ll also be with my fiancee (27) and a group of friends ages 24-34, so I figure they’d be smart enough to put two and two together?

I’m originally from VA, and the DMV there let me keep my revoked I.D but they hole punched it right on my exp. date, lovely i know. I go out to bars, clubs, lounges, events etc…in LA all the time with no issue, just a question once in awhile.

Do you think I’ll be okay with my I.D (which would still be valid with out the DUI). I’ll have all of the credit, bank, and personal business cards they could ever want to see on me at all times, so am I being paranoid or will they give me a really hard time?

Or has technology gotten to the point where they can run my I.D and have it automatically say REVOKED or DUI so I don’t have to explain anything??

Please let me know because this weekend is meant to be relaxing and this I.D thing is pretty annoying although I completely understand why they do it.

I’d really appreciate constructive and non-judgmental answers instead of mindless, rude, pointless and egotistical opinions( I criticize myself a ton already don’t worry). Thank you in advance!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE

1930’s 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s !

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us and lived in houses made of asbestos. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese, raw egg products, loads of bacon and processed meat, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes or cervical cancer.

Then after that trauma, our baby cots were covered with bright coloured lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets or shoes, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

Take away food was limited to fish and chips, no pizza shops, McDonalds , KFC, Subway or Nandos.

Even though all the shops closed at 6.00pm and didn’t open on the weekends, somehow we didn’t starve to death!

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.

We could collect old drink bottles and cash them in at the corner store and buy Toffees, Gobstoppers, Bubble Gum and some bangers to blow up frogs with. We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank soft drinks with sugar in it, but we weren’t overweight because……

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of old prams and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. We built tree houses and dens and played in river beds with matchbox cars.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo Wii , X-boxes, no video games at all, no 999 channels on SKY , no video/dvd films, no mobile phones, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms……….WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no
Lawsuits from these accidents.

Only girls had pierced ears!

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

You could only buy Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns at Easter time…

We were given air guns and catapults for our 10th birthdays,

We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just yelled for them!

Mum didn’t have to go to work to help dad make ends meet!

RUGBY and CRICKET had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!! Getting into the team was based on MERIT

Our teachers used to hit us with canes and gym shoes and bully’salways ruled the playground at school.

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

Our parents didn’t invent stupid names for their kids like ‘Kiora’ and ‘Blade’ and ‘Ridge’ and ‘Vanilla’ “And we never had a whole Mars bar until 1993″!!!

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL !

And YOU are one of them! CONGRATULATIONS!

Its so hard to do either but its time…I don’t see how sorry can fix it this time.
Its sad all the money my parents took from me, my mom spent on junk. She has more clothes then a Walmart. And so much debt. They put us down in their own shi*ty way all the time. Never come to see us. And think they should get a gold metal when they do.
They put my boyfriends parents down because they would do anything for us. That day I needed to go to the ER. My boyfriends mom was will to drive from an hour away to get me an then 45 mins in traffic to the hospital I wanted to go to. And call off work to sit with me. Thats real parents!
They act like nothing happened with the money from before. They don’t even know what bank I use now. This all with my bday has happened in the last 3 months. I have hardly picked up phone calls or answered texts unless I have to. I think they realize something is up.

(I know this is a lot of information)

Okay so i’m still at a very young age (teen area), and i danced from the time I was 3 to the time I was 11, Ballet, continuously, every year with about 4 years of non-intense jazz and hip hop classes, (but still to the point where i learned a lot and became familiar with the technique)
Over the past few years, I have still enjoyed fooling around with dance just for fun, but this summer I have realized that I still have a strong liking for dance, but not exactly ballet. It just became clear to me that I want routines, kind of like hip-hop, but also like gymnastics floor routines. (not really like a million flips on a mat for judges, but more like, just advanced cart-wheels and some minor gymnastics work)

Any suggestions… or is this a lost cause?

so the other night I was driving home from the bars, when I rounded a corner and hit something in the crosswalk. I stopped my truck and got out, only to my horror to see a “large object” lying on the ground. I guess it must have been crossing the road when I turned the corner, because the grill of my truck caught it in it a very vulnerable spot, because there was blood everywhere. I didn’t want to go to jail or get a ticket, and I had a soft-top on the back of my truck, so I loaded the object into the back of the truck, pushed the shopping cart into an alley, and drove out to a lake on the outside of town to dump it. I wrapped it up in a tarp I had in the back and threw it in the lake. I just had to get rid of the mess because I didn’t need a ticket, Im tight on money right now. I need to know some good tips for cleaning the grill of my truck and getting the bed of my truck good and clean. I don’t know if the myth about Coke and blood is true, but I would like someone to verify it before I accidentally ruin the bed of my truck. I also need good tips for getting hair and what appears to be some brain matter out of my grill. I just need to avoid a ticket or potentially jail time right now. Hopefully this all blows over soon

My 13 month old daughter wont sit still. I know toddlers are active, but she literally never sits still unless she’s strapped into her highchair or in a shopping cart. She’ll stand in front of the tv and shift from foot to foot, always working in tiny little circles. She won’t sit down all day, and when we try to sit with her on the couch, she’s off to play with the curtains or she wiggles her way to the floor and immediately cries because she wants up on our laps again. She sleeps well at night and takes one long afternoon nap. She eats eggs, waffles, or cereal for breakfast, sandwiches, fruit bars and toddler puffs and crackers for lunch and whatever we have for dinner with snacks when she wants them. She drinks 24 oz of formula(drs orders)6-8 oz juice and water for the rest of the day. Is this hyperactivity just her gearing up for toddler years, or could it be related to her recent anemia? Doc says she doesn’t need supplements cause of the formula still. How active was your child?

Last night: There were options. So many options. So many things to choose. So many numbers. All I was doing was making choice, after choice, after choice. I’m not quite sure what all I was choosing, but what comes to mind was vaugely school supplies. It was a very irritating dream, and I awoke very hot and stresse and itchy. After a while I fell asleep again.

The second dream last night: I remember going to a airport and going down a hallway. I walked straight into a plane and it took off. My dad was with me. I was afraid that it would take me far away, but then it turned out it just took me down to nearby resturant. At the resturant I think I had some sort of spherical food (rice balls?) covered with some sort of sauce. It was also night time. Then it became morning and I went down a street in a golf cart and went to a playground-fort, when I found someone falling out of the bars and doing splits. Then I woke up.

My girlfriend and i are staying in Tavernier between Islamorada and Key Largo, Fl in march. We can’t decide whether to change our reservations to key largo or islamorada so we’re wondering how expensive the cab ride would be from the bars to our place at night, or if its worth renting a bike or a golf cart.
I am renting a car in fort lauderdale, but i am not trying to drink and drive. we were considering renting something like a golf cart or something too, but we didnt know how practical that is for drinking and driving or leaving outside a bar. We are not familiar with anything down there.

Fired? I was asked to leave today by my boss she said that I was to friendly with the members and male workers. She said that she believed that I was seeking attention and acted to seductive. Yesterday one of the head bosses there left roses on my car and I went out of my way constantly to avoid him because he would always try to corner me in confined spaces and the guys who worked there I also refused rides on their golf carts. When they would try to talk to me I would wait until they were done so that I could leave. I am crying so hard because I worked so hard in AR and AP, and she had nothing to say about my work performance. Plus my boss would go into the bar and drink alcohol all day long, because I worked at a gof course and there was a bar there. I also worked with a girl that hated me from day one and told me to keep my hands on eyes off of her men (she was fat and mean and no one even liked her). What would you do, I am so sad~~!

He is with me where ever I go! And he’s talking to me….

The other day, as I was walking down the street, I walked by a bar filled with stinky people. Satan told me, “OH look, there is a bar. Wouldn’t you like to have beer?”

I said, “No Satan! I do not want a beer! Even though I am extremely thirsty… but no! I will not give into my human temptations!”

I ran into the nearest store to escape from his evil doings. But he followed me in there! I walked by the sweets aisle, then he spoke to me again! “Wouldn’t you like to have one of those delicious chocolate flavored HoHo cakes?”

And I said, “NO SATAN! I do not want a delicious chocolate flavored HoHo cake! Even though I am pretty hungry. But I will not give in to the temptation!”

I ran out of the store and continued on my way home. On the way, there was a homeless guy lying in the street clutching the bible in his hands saying to passers-by, “The end is near! Repent!”

Then Satan came to me and said, “Look at the pathetic HoBo, wouldn’t you like to go over there and push him over and slap him like a sissy!”

I said, “NO SATAN! I do not want to beat the pathetic homeless man! He is pretty pitiful? Isn’t he?”

I passed a Wal-Mart, and he said to me, “Lookey there! A Wal-Mart! Wouldn’t you like to go in and see what kind of specials there are today?” I said, “No SaTan! Gosh! It seems that no matter where I go, Satan wants me to give in to my temptations. I prayed to God to get him to leave me alone, but he doesn’t! Can anyone help me get rid of him?

So I answered a really good question the other day about parents being forgetful and having poor memories and it got me to thinking.

Several times since being a mother, I have gone into the grocery store and left without paying for something. My kids are crying, or trying to get my attention, or reaching for the candy bars. (I HATE that they do that to us by the way…smart, but annoying) Someones calling on my cell phone etc. and in the meantime I forget about something in my cart. It’s usually the bottled water I put at the bottom of the cart, or the item my child is sitting on. Then I have to take the walk of shame back into the store and admit my absentmindedness and pay. So does anyone else out there ever do the same due to the havoc during checkout?
You guys are making me laugh….thanks for that one. Just in case you check back…..

I also recently got gas and my kids were begging for donuts. So we got the donuts, paid and left. I got the whole way home before I realized I hadn’t paid for the gas. So I called sheetz like a moron and told them I just got gas and didn’t pay. I drove back and paid, but it made me question whether someone is REALLY “watching” us pay for our gas. I got away without a hitch….
Sorry….I’m not a credit card user at the gas pump. I’m old fashioned I use cash.

And yes, I have the get the last word in disease….regretably.

question with horse harnesses?

i am looking to buy a harness for my horse because i am interested in teaching him to pull a cart and stuff…i have been ground driving with a bareback pad(the rings in it work really well) and a ferrier that we used once said it may work, but because of the ring’s tilt, i may have trouble..i sorta did. but i have kind’ve taken a break because i want to buy a real harness and i just don’t know which to buy. i really want a nylon one because it will never snap with age(unlike leather..this happened with a bridle of mine that wasn’t even old) but i don’t know which one would be the most comfortable for my horse. i have knowticed that some have collars with big pretty bars sticking out like this one:

i would like the collar one just because it looks more comfortable, but i really would like to stay away from leather(i will most likely be buying it used)

Hi. i used to do gymnastics like 2 years ago, and i was pretty good for my skill level and learned fast. i did it from i was 9 to 11 and can still do a front and back walk over, the splits a one handed cart wheel, cart wheel dive thing a hand stand roll and some other things. im 13 now, would it be too late to start again. my local gym has a summer class i was thinking of joining.

if i went back, and trained really hard… could i compete, and how long would it take me to reach that level?

also, how long would it take for me to get my back handspring and aerial cartwheel? thanks

OK i had this dream last night where it was a body of water surrounded by hills. There is a track around the hills and these little kids are put into the carts and sent on their ride around the hills all of a sudden the hills catch on fire and I am getting into this boat and I sepcifically saw my pink digital camera fall into the water and at first it floated then i grabbed onto a bar on the boat to keep me from falling into the water and looked back down to grab the camera and it started to sink and as i reached to grab my arm and hand were gray tiny and veiny bony like i was an alien, i grabbed the camera and then climbed onto a humongous jungle gym in the middle of the water surrounded by the hills on fire and im trying to climb across the jungle gym and people are yelling at me to not get burned and i just sit there and watch the hills burn and all the carts catch on fire and watch them burn. I woke up very disturbed about this. please help

Today I was at a supermarket and I was getting so frustrated.
There was a woman with her son. Both of them fat, the women obese and the son overweight. I looked at the womens shopping cart and I saw cookies, soda, crackers, micrawave dinners, and complete junk. I saw no produce in her shopping cart.
I looked over at the son and he was walking towards the candy. He grabbed three candy bars and his mother said no. I was a little happy because I thought she was going to at least try and get her son to eat healthy, but of course I was wrong. She said “Jake, pick one… I don’t have enough money for all three.”

I get that parents are fat and unhealthy, but why don’t they teach their kids to eat healthy. They aren’t doing them any good.

Since im goanna have candy every where i thought about having a candy bar i thought that i could get those bag that they have at candy carts in the mall and let people pay $5 for it to fill it up with candy as much as they want to all night and all the money i get from tha would go to a Charity that i pick. Im having about 150 people do you think $5 a bag is good.

I’ve been bartending a couple of months, and everything was easy, packing cambro’s etc, working tents with kegs, working beer carts etc, wine pours, everything was pretty easy. I’ve worked the bar a couple of times, but Friday, was different I hadn’t learned any mixed drinks, and they essentially through me to the wolves for a 200 person event. I have common sense and I know what Gin & Tonic and Rum & Coke, 7and7 etc..but I felt totally incompetent as they were ordering fuzzy navels, etc..and drinks that I never heard..also it seems as though since it was a younger crowd, they ordered more mixed or complicated drinks then older crowds who order more things like vodka and cranberry etc.

Experienced bartenders how long did it take you to get use to pace, and drink orders. I felt lost out there.

any ideas?

ok so here is the problem, well im a eight grader and we used to have something at lunch called ala’ cart (we could get pretty much anything we wanted off of this… i.e. gatorade, granola bars. just basic snack foods), well the issue is that we don’t have it any more because the stupid sixth graders (and probablly seventh too) “abused the privilge” or in other words they ordered something and then got something else causing there to be either not enough food or too much food. well since we don’t have ala’ cart any more most people refuse to eat the gross stuff the lunch ladys make (no offense if your a lunch lady) but really when it get to the point of the hot dogs being green and when you drop them they bounce, it is just too much. so all i ate (well drank technically) was chocolate milk. so not that your feeling terrible, and are about to vomit. what could we do to fix this problem-o? any ideas are welcome!!

ok, so ive been having some wierd dreams lately, they’ve been really realistic and they’re kinda creepy…
dream 1- I was at a fair with my close guy friend, we went on a ride called the zipper and he lost his glasses. they fell to the bottom of the cage we were in, and he bent down to get them, i screamed no, an then the door opened. he went flying out, an obviously crushed by the bars that were still turning, and I was holding on for dear life. I was screaming and crying his name, and then I woke up.

dream 2- im with my friends and i twist my ankle, they put me in a grocery cart and sart weeling me over to my one friends house. I start to video tape and they tell me how im such a klutz, and how I cant go a day without getting an injuy. we et to the top of a hill, and we are about to go down it, when I spot this guy I really like. Thats when my friend pushing the shopping cart trips and lets go of the cart, sending me top speeds down the hill. I see the guy I like, he start screaming my name, i start to head into a road, i whisper his name, and I get hit by a car… then I wake up…

what does this mean??

Im 17 and about 4 years ago me and a friend were playing around on his block where he lives. We decided we wood do something crazy and ride shopping carts, we found some blocks away, down the street. so were riding the shopping carts in the street for sometime and one time we went on them cars came in our direction. we both tried to turn to opposite sidewalks to avoid being run over, he rolled onto the curb without a probelm. I on the other hand didnt and the shopping cart flipped on its side with me in it. I blacked out for a second and when i woke up i got up and felt lightheaded. The shopping cart had stabbed me in the arm with i guess the part of the metal bars that stick out. it wasnt beeling but the cuts were deep. i had no idea of why i wasnt bleeding because it was literally really deep and i could see the inner layers of skin and stuff. well it bruised up and healed i guess. i didnt go to the doctor and i developed a rash? it like a bunch of pimples and skin darker than mine.
how do i remove it?
i got the rash shortly after it healed about 4 years ago but i havent done anything about it but now its becoming a problem because its very spread out on like my bicep area. please help!
also, will there be complication with removing it because ive waited so long to get rid of it?

ok little background info.. last night got really seriously drunk, v.quickly. I threw up loads in a bar and got chucked out by the bouncers and continued throwing up on the street and nearly got carted off to the police station only my mate saw me when he was driving passed and picked me up (he’s a very good mate now), I remember at the time thinking to myself “I want this to stop” so basically is there anyway to sober up very quickly when you are seriously drunk???

This doesn’t directly relate to baby wearing, but I figure that those who do may be able to give me the insight that I am looking for. I keep hearing that it is perfectly safe to clip infant seats onto the fold down portion of the shopping cart. The reasoning is that since the car seats have a clipping mechanism, it is safe. I thought that the clipping mechanism on the infant seats is for clipping onto the bars in the base of the seat or onto the stroller that came with the travel system. Since these bars are so much thicker than those on shopping carts, I don’t see how this is safe. Just because it DOES clip doesn’t mean that it SHOULD.

So, help me out here. Is this actually safe? Some say that their manuals say that it is safe and that is how to do it, but I haven’t been able to find any. What can you share with me?

My fiance and I have been together almost 7 years, he is a good guy but he kinda sucks at this whole relationship thing. We have 3 kids together.

(Every now and then our eldest daughter will still be up but she has her pyjamas on and is ready for bed) He had a whinge last night and said he is not the babysitter. He is their FATHER ffs.

2. He told me the other day he doesn’t trust me to go grocery shopping on my own. We take all three kids with us and they end up whinging and whining “I want this, I want that” so I said to him “I think from now on I will do the shopping on my own” and he said “you wouldn’t know what to get, you’d buy stuff we don’t need” (oh but it’s ok for him to put chocolate biscuits in the trolley/cart isn’t it?) he is always going on about all the little withdrawals of money I make. Like if I buy myself a chocolate bar at the shops for $2 he gets annoyed. But it’s ok for him to spend $600 on golf clubs (he bought them in December and it’s May, he still hasn’t used them), it’s also ok for him to buy himself video games as well.

3. He doesn’t have his license. He refuses to get it, he’s 31. When I first met him it didn’t bother me that he couldnt drive because I just assumed that he WOULD get it, especially after having 3 kids. I didn’t have mine either when we first met, but after having our first child I thought ‘well, one of us needs our license.’ He gets the train to work but if he wants to go anywhere else we all have to go as I have to drive and we can’t leave the kids at home on their own

4. He doesn’t spend any time with the kids. His idea of “daddy time” is watching tv and having the kids in the same room. He doesn’t read to them before bed, very rarely does he take them to the park or go outside and play catch or whatever. He DOES take our eldest daughter to preschool every now and then when he has time to work from home or a day off (the preschool is just around the corner so he doesn;t have to drive). He doesn’t help with our eldest daughter’s speech homework either (she has a speech problem).

5. He doesn’t sit at the table with me and the kids. He’d rather watch sport than spent just 10 minutes with us.

6. He doesb’t help with housework. He cooks on weekends which I really appriciate but then I am the one left with all the mess, dishes, kitchen, etc afterwards AND I have to get kids ready for bed, make lunches for daycare and preschool and tidy toys, fold clothes etc while he just sits down.

He works Mon to Fri and I am sahm. I clean and look after kids all day so we are both exhausted byt the end of the day. I try to get him to help by saying “look I know you work hard all day but so do I, running after kids, cleaning, cooking as well as getting up to the baby overnight (and our 3 year old sometimes wets the bed or has bad dreams), if we BOTH get the kids ready for bed, if we BOTH clean the kitchen or if you bath the kids and I do dishes things would get done more quicker and then we can spend more time together watching a movie or whatever” but he won’t leave the couch until bed time.

He comes home, gets changed, gets his dinner and sits on the couch all night. He does tuck the kids in, after I have already put them to bed, read them stories, bathed them, brushed teeth, made sure they ate their dinner. He waits for all the work to be done.

I am not sure what I want to do. Things weren’t always like this, it’s just over the last year really. I try and appriciate what he DOES do but it’s really hard. I want to get back into the workforce, mayeb get a part time job working nights but I’m really worried I will get home and the house will be a mess, they’ll be dishes to do, toys to clean up, washing etc because he won’t think to do anything. When I go out and come home a few hours later the house is always a mess and when I ask him why he doesn’t clean up SOME of the mess he says “I was watching the kids.” Mind you he has two of them down for naps anyway and if I can clean, cook, run errands etc with all three kids awake surely it’s not that hard for him to take 5 to 10 minutes to wash the dishes or 5 minutes to put a load of washing on.

When I go out I make sure the house is clean but with 3 kids there is always gonna be something to do cos they make more mess.

WHAT THE F@CK DO I DO? I AM GETTING REALLY STRESSED ABOUT ALL THIS. I CANNOT SLEEP AT NIGHT BECAUSE I LIE AWAY THINKING ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP. IF I DID BREAK UP WITH HIM, I HAVE NOWHERE TO GO ANYWAY.

I have said we need councelling many times but he thinks we don’t need it. He doesn’t think there is anything wrong with the r/s.

And he WASN’T always like this. Yes, we have three kids but what should I do? Shove them back up my vag!na?

Also, I am organised with housework, but even the most organised person needs helps sometimes don’t they? I mean, I can have this house clean through the day but there will be more to do at night because the kids make more mess and then theres dishes after dinner and the kids need getting ready for bed. I’m not an octopus, I only have 2 hands, I need help.

He isn’t interested in things like game night or whatever, he just wants to come home and either watch tv or play Playstation and that’s it.

And yes, I realise I am on the internet now but I am on and off here doing housework and taking care of kids.

2) take the book i just bought to the atomic Coffee across the street and hope that i’ll have better chances of talking to a girl reading it there then i would reading it at home

3) go to my friend’s place and drink some PBR and play mario cart which he just bought for nintendo 64

4) some random idea that i didn’t think of

or i could meet girls at the bar or coffe shop and talk them into coming over and playing mario cart at my friends place.

I really don’t like myself for being like that it’s not good.And I know it but can’t help secretly think it.

We are getting married in September and my h2b’s best friend is getting married two weeks after. And I keep comparing our wedding to theirs. We just wanted simple and personal and have lot less money.

But their wedding is in on of the most popular places in the area very expensive £45 per head for 3 courses ours in country estate where we first went £15 head hot buffet followed by an ice cream cart for dessert.

Then we have hog roast in evening and ol barn with a carpet floor. They have this bulding iwth barn look lots of posh wood beams and wooden floors and big staircase.

We have courtyard and bar outside that you have to walk out of barn too .

Our invites were simple but had the gingham theme we having their invites came in posh pocket folds .

They having one of the best photographers in area we just went with guy we like for fun photos and was only £500 . Everything seems to be so much more but I do love our VW old beetle and spilt screen campervan. They having horse and carriage,

we just wanted simple but now this horrible side of me think our wedding look rubbish compared to theirs. even tho I know that it reflects us and we are very happy together and I need to stop this .

I should be happy for them but as she has always kinda looked down on our little flat and never bothers with su when try make conversation with her am fining am comparing. Another friend getting married week b4 me and that doesn’t bother me at all. As I care about her and want her to have best wedding ever . So why I am hung up on this other girl and his friend. Why do I care that they’ll think our wedding is cheap.

How does the wii wheel pick up yaw?

Hi to everyone that reads this.

My brother bought a Nintendo wii. I was intrigued by the wireless controller that he got with it. I decided to read up on how it works. From all of the reading pieces I could get my hands on I have established that the wiimote itself cannot pick up yaw. It uses the sensor bar to pick up the left and right movements.

My question is however. When you put the wiimote into the wheel to play mario cart or whatever game. What changes so that you can pick up the side to side movement of the wiimote inside the wii wheel.

Would you speak up…..?

I was at Walmart the other day and saw a mother with a 1-2 month old baby, who could NOT sit up unassisted at all. She had the baby in the front of the cart with nothing, the baby was screaming and sluntched over….she was obviously crying b/c she was uncomfortable.
Later I saw her leaving, the baby was laying foward with her mouth on the metal, screaming! She could barley scream b/c the metal bar was stuck in her mouth. She never helped her or held her up or anything! I was sooooo furious! The baby was in OBVIOUS pain! Not only that it was freezing and the baby was in a dress!

ALso, I saw a man driving the other day….he was tailgaiting me and everyone else in the POURING rain, and speeding, and weaving in and out of traffic…..once he passed me there was an infant seat in the front seat of his pickup truck with a baby in it!

UGH! Would you say something to someone? What have you seen before?

Ahh, love these stories.

Let me tell you mine. So at work today I was taking apart the salad bar. When I was taking out the jar of Thousand Island Dressing, I bent over to put it in the cart. My fingers slipped, and I knew I was going to drop it. So I screamed, knowing the completely full container would make a huge mess. When I dropped it, it landed facing up. …The Dressing like, plopped up into my mouth, in my hair and all over my face. I accidently swallowed it too (I really hate Thousand Island Dressing.) To make matters worse, my boss came over to help me. I threw up on him..

I have a true, true phobia of Thousand Island Dressing now. You don’t even know.

He cooks for me ALL THE TIME, he spends time with me ….

But he seems selfish all of a sudden to me. He doesn’t work as he is in school right now earning his BS. That’s okay with me. It’s been okay for 2 years. I don’t mind working and we have simple lives with my pay and live well.
But is it okay for him to go to a Bar last night, for 7 hours and spend 80 dollars drinking? I am 37 weeks pregnant at home and he seems selfish as I am trying to make things work with the money we have. I feel like I am doing EVERYTHING. Insurance for baby, getting the nursery together, needing a massage (which he wont do for me), shopping for baby (he has gone and just stood at the cart yawning while I go look for things alone). I’m almost ready to pop and I have VERY different feelings for him now. It’s making me scared.

Is this weird?

20 month old that steals things, what to do?

Ok, so my little boy is almost 2 and he has the stickiest fingers ever! He has set off alarms in 4 stores so far. At first it was funny now it’s getting to be a real problem. I do not put him down in the stores to let him walk by himself…he grabs things as I push the stroller or cart thru the store and shoves them under his bum, up his sleep, in a pocket, anywhere he can find a spot. I do not steal things so I don’t know where he is getting this from. I have started to check him before leaving stores but twice he was sneaky enough to get a candy bar and a pair of socks past me. This isn’t even stuff that he wants, he justs takes stuff. When I take it away sometimes he doesn’t even make a fuss. I have tried telling how bad it is and shame on you even a swat on the hand (then I feel like the most evil person ever cuz I know he doesn’t understand) and I have tried ignoring it and not even saying anything. I just don’t think understands at all. I mean he isn’t even 2 yet. But I’ve been lucky so far the stores have let me pass with just little irritation on their part. What to do in this situation??

p.s. It is not like I don’t watch my kid in the store, it’s just unfortunate I do not have eyes the whole way around my head.

My experience comes from working at Picacho Hills Country Club. During my four years I’ve worked my way up from back server to Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Rather it’s bartending, washing dishes, running the beverage cart, or cleaning golf clubs It’s my job to make sure it gets done and gets done correctly.

Ok I went to the store to pick up some Orange juice and candy (Mr. Good Bar) Yes ladies I saw Joe, Kevin and Nick…ok let me be calm!!

But first I saw Joe Jonas in the beauty section and yes he was hot like fire…..so I got brave and went up to him and was like omg I like you even though your not really the hotest bro, but hot still. As he was placing some Raven Jet dye in his cart and blush baby brand blush…he looked at me and told me to look into his eyes…..I was um..ok…so I did So after 20 min of staring at each other I broke the ice and asked why are you here? He told me then this was an S.O.S…and I said why and he said his brown hair was kinda showing and needs to take care of it. So I told him I better go…and he said look into my eyes and I was like um…no..really, and then he said just a little bit longer. being the true Jonas fan that I am…I did…so 30 min later I was on my cell phone telling my friend what just happen!!

Then as I was walking to find a cashier.I SAW NICK, I caught him in the cereal section. So I ran to him and was like OMG Nickie my lover HI and he looked at me crazy like. So I was like omg your so hot like …like the sun!! Hesmiled and I noticed he was having a hard time choosing between Fruit Loops and Cocoa Puffs…I told him Puff all the way..he was like thanks sweetheart. Then I asked him what would be a great time for us to go out? And he was like in the year 3000 and I was like omg cool!! And I had to ask….I said Miley Cyrus and he said Just friends….and I was like ok!

So I was so excited!!

Then at the check out lane…guess who was in front???? kevin jonas..the hot of the hottttttt!

As he was pulling out his food items like oatmeal, tooth brush, peas, and rubber duckie…I know odd. I was like hi…..and I tapped his shoulder. He turned around and said hello beautiful and I was like hi and then the cashier said total 30. 56 cents. He pulled out a 100.00 dollars and told her to keep the change since his young fans will supple him more green….and am think omg our money buys their food…AWESOME! But he then looked shocked and told the cashier to hold on and she said what? Then he said Hold on and she was like huh? and then he said Hold on, and she said …um ok? He said he has to get some Bushes bake beans said, We don’t have time left to regret and she said hold on? He said Hold! And she said hold on? And he said yes Hold on! So he ran off to get the beans……I was going to wait until my lame mother came and told me to put the juice and candy back because winn Dixie had a cheap deal.

But at least I got to see them!!
